The intensity of these stunning Boulder Opals will take your breath away.

My designs celebrate our iconic Australian Boulder Opals. Flickering brightly coloured embers of the Australian bush. Set in 9k buttery gold and married with sapphires and garnet.

All of these opals sit perfectly together complementing each other with their wild flashes of intense colour.   I tend to gravitate towards the natural form when I cut my stones and this piece certainly reflects this.

Set on a sterling silver back plate.

The bale is big enough to take a 4mm jump ring.

*The chain pictured with the pendant is only as a guide and not included.

The Lapis necklace is 16 inches composed of 2mm round faceted beads that catch the light like diamonds and a 14k gold hook clasp, so beautiful.

Gram weight: 3.77

Pendant Length: 30mm

Pendant Width: 17mm

I am lucky enough to be able to cut my own stones as well as create and present to you my  original works. Each piece is put together with the passion I have for making jewellery. Please be aware that these Opals may have natural pits and markings. They are as nature intended I have only cut, shaped and polished, I have not even tried to remove any imperfections.

If you've never had a little bit of Australia how better to start than with a collectible piece. Or you may be in love with Opals like me and can't help but add to your collection.

Frequently asked question:  Can my Opal go in water?

All Australian Opals CAN go into water.  They are not porous.  Australian Opal are the most durable of all the Opals.  Please don't confuse other Opal with Australian Opal.  The only time you need to be careful of submerging Australian Opal in water is when they are doublets and triplets because of the glue used to hold the slice of Opal onto the backing.  Anyone who sells doublets or triplets should give you full disclosure.  All my Opals are solid and will not change or alter in water. Guaranteed!!

*all photos are taken by me on my iPhone. Sunlight and direct light is the best way to see the beauty and intensity of colour in an Opal.
