Boulder opals paired with freshwater pearls have a gorgeous symmetry.  There’s so much colour and play in these light based opals. White Boulder tends to do that. When I say white Boulder I mean the background because the colours are rich and varied. 


These stud earrings are set in fine silver on a sterling silver back plate with accents of brilliant cut emeralds set in 9k gold.

Please be aware that these Opals may have natural pits and markings. They are as nature intended I have only cut, shaped and polished, I have not even tried to remove any imperfections.

Frequently asked question:  Can my solid Opal go in water?
Yes, Australian Opals CAN go into water.  They are not porous.  Australian Opal are the most durable of all the Opals.  Please don't confuse other Opal with Australian Opal.  The only time you need to be careful of submerging Australian Opal in water is when they are doublets and triplets because of the glue used to hold the slice of Opal onto the backing.  Anyone who sells doublets or triplets should give you full disclosure.  All my Opals are solid and will not change or alter in water. Guaranteed!!
