This very unique Boulder Opal comes from Queensland Australia.

I have cut this shape to include the bright flash of blues, greens, reds and yellows next to a block of caramel with a hint of a stripe.  This is a perfect example of the wonder of Opal as it sits in perfect symmetry with all manner of colour combinations.

This will be set in the metal of your choice on an elegant half round band approximately 2mm wide.

Measures: 12 mm x 7 mm

TCW: 3.59

Please be aware that these Opals may have natural pits and markings. They are as nature intended I have only cut, shaped and polished, I have not even tried to remove any imperfections.

Frequently asked question:  Can my solid Opal go in water?

Yes, Australian Opals CAN go into water.  They are not porous.  Australian Opal are the most durable of all the Opals.  Please don't confuse other Opal with Australian Opal.  The only time you need to be careful of submerging Australian Opal in water is when they are doublets and triplets because of the glue used to hold the slice of Opal onto the backing.  Anyone who sells doublets or triplets should give you full disclosure.  All my Opals are solid and will not change or alter in water. Guaranteed!!
